First Engineering Graduate joins N-Gen
We’re delighted to welcome our first Graduate Engineer, Thomas Veale

As part of our commitment to developing the very best talent to help us tackle the challenges arising from the energy transition, we’re delighted to welcome our first Graduate Engineer, Thomas Veale.
He joins us from a background in chemical and process engineering, having graduated with a MEng in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Sheffield.
Thomas will spend two years on a pre-planned graduate training programme which will see him immersed in our Bradford Low Carbon Hydrogen (BLCH) scheme; understanding the project, spending time on-site and assisting with documentation reviews. In addition, he’ll work for periods within other teams at N-Gen, including Procurement, Commercial, Operations and Maintenance, Communications and Business Development for an all-round view of the organisation. He aims to applying his technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to design, analyse, develop, and implement solutions for various engineering projects.

Commenting on his appointment Thomas said “I am extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to work for N-Gen. It’s not every day you get to join a company during the early stages of design or be involved in a groundbreaking project such as the BLCH – so I am ready to get stuck in! The culture at N-Gen is fantastic and have felt extremely welcome. I am proud to be here and eager to get involved in any way that I can”
