Welcoming Amar to N-Gen
In a further expansion of our team, Amar Shah has joined us, taking up a role as Senior Quantity Surveyor
This week, we’re extending warm welcome to Amar Shah who has joined us to begin work as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on our Bradford Low Carbon Hydrogen scheme.
During 12 years as a Quantity Surveyor, Amar’s projects have included working with some of the biggest water companies on their asset maintenance frameworks across the UK. Amar has also completed projects in the energy sector, building two major Anaerobic Digestion plants in the UK to produce biogas from food waste. His experience also extends into the telecommunication industry where he has been involved with building the UK’s fibre infrastructure. The Bradford Low Carbon Hydrogen site at Bowling Back Lane is a little closer to home.
Amar said 'This role really stood out for me as the site is in an area of Bradford close to where I live and the project will make a huge impact to my local community. I’m committed to the transition towards greener energy and making a positive impact towards the net zero commitment. It's great to be part of the project team tasked with the challenge of building one of the country's biggest low carbon hydrogen plants.’
